PT-141
Libido and sexual desire
Learn moreCommonly chosen for: Tanning, appetite, libido

Melanotan II tells your skin to produce more melanin, so you tan with less sun exposure. It also acts on receptors involved in appetite and libido — PT-141 was developed out of that side of its activity. It carries real safety considerations: nausea, blood pressure changes, and the need to have existing moles checked by a dermatologist. Physician supervision genuinely matters with this one.
Melanotan II acts on melanocortin receptors, telling the pigment cells in your skin to produce more melanin — so you tan with less sun exposure.
The same receptor family is involved in appetite and libido, which is why those effects are also reported. PT-141 was developed out of that side of its activity.

Nausea and flushing are common, especially early. Darkening of existing moles and freckles, appetite changes, spontaneous erections and blood pressure changes are all reported.
Not appropriate with a history of melanoma or skin cancer, atypical or numerous moles, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or in pregnancy or breastfeeding. A dermatologist should check existing moles before and during use, and this does not replace sun protection.
